We wanted to create a succession plan for Tom for five years in the future and needed to create the right structures for this to be possible.

Some specific changes that we have made include implementing a scorecard to actually know what is happening in the business, a sales process to fast track the pricing structure and communication with clients, reporting and scheduling to smooth out workflow and improve profits. With everything templated, we are now finishing more projects on time and on budget.

My biggest breakthrough has been my confidence and the ability to walk in to meetings with clients and communicate effectively. Knowing my clients will respond to this is very important.
