Livable Landscapes operates nationwide with offices in Brisbane and Melbourne.

It's been a big journey over the past 5 years. Some of the challenges we have had along the way have been quite diverse. The main one is that we came into the business as tradesman and not business people, and I had absolutely no idea how to run a business. We were in a bit of trouble, trying to run a business and not really having the best idea about it.

Some specific improvements we have made through PROTRADE include, customer service, financials and processes and understanding how they work, why you need them and implementation of them. The biggest break through I have had as a business owner is that business, unless you are very lucky it doesn't just grow rapidly. It needs to be grown slowly and methodically, and you need to start small and use the processes and procedures that you've got and grow them bit by bit.

The future for Livable Landscapes is a lot simpler then it was when we first started, and realistically we would like to have a nice neat company that is easy to run while being refined to some nice projects that we can get that name for.
